The Xebex FreeRun Motorized Treadmill Smart Connect combines the benefits of non-motorized
treadmills and traditional motorized treadmills, featuring a low-impact running surface with a
slatted design for the most comfortable user experience.
2 Modes of Training: FreeRun and Motorized
In FreeRun mode, experience user-powered functionality, mimicking the benefits of a non-motorized treadmill, allowing for personalized stride, speed, and pace adjustments, and burning 30% more calories. With the ability to monitor and adjust incline of up to 10 degrees.
In the Motorized mode, this offers convenience and versatility. Use the console’s Quick Adjust Keys to set your desired speed or make incremental changes with the accessible increase or decrease buttons located on the handles. Enjoy a speed range from 0.5mph to 13.8mph and adjust incline through 16 levels, reaching up to a 15-degree incline.
Treadmill Motor
The Xebex Freerun AST-02 boasts a powerful motor, reaching a peak of 4.0 Horsepower AC and maintaining a continuous output of 2.0 Horsepower AC. Allowing users to easily switch from FreeRun mode to Motorized mode.
Smart Connect Console
A large display console enables athletes to easily select workouts and track their performance at a glance. Quickly view various performance metrics: time, distance, pulse, calories, speed, incline, and program. The console’s backlit screen allows users to easily view their statistics during workouts. The integration of Smart Connect allows users to connect Smart Connect equipment to a variety of 3rd party apps as well as group leaderboard software.
Hand Pulse
Handles attached to the rail provide extra security as well as functionality. Each handle reads the athlete’s pulse, which is then displayed on the console. The left handle features controls to increase and decrease the incline angle (16 levels to choose), while the right handle allows you to increase and decrease the speed. Users can also wear a 5k frequency chest belt to display pulse on the console instead of using the built-in handle pulse readers.
Slatted Running Surface
Enjoy longer and more comfortable workouts on the Xebex FreeRun treadmill’s low-impact running surface. The slatted design absorbs shock, reducing impact on joints. With a wide surface area of 22? x 58?, the vulcanized rubber provides a soft workout experience. Customize your intensity with incline options up to 15 degrees and a powerful 2.0HP AC motor offering speeds from 0.5 to 13.8 mph.
Our Engineers set out to develop a safe and comfortable running surface for people that also reduced the friction and wear associated with the conventional conveyor belt style treadmill. To do this, they started with a ball-bearing transportation system and then created an entirely new slat style running surface.
This combined system provides a running surface of 38-43 type A shore hardness, which was found by the Deutsche Sporthochschule in Cologne, Germany to be the ideal softness to eliminate the harmful shock to connective tissue while not changing proper biomechanics. Additionally, the low friction ball bearing transportation system alleviates the forces to all mechanical and electrical parts, resulting in less wear, less maintenance, fewer repairs, lower electric bills, and a longer overall treadmill life
A WOODWAY truly is the World’s finest treadmill. Woodway Treadmills are specifically requested by competitive sports teams, medical and rehabilitation facilities, and high-usage fitness facilities worldwide because of their patented design that provides a superior running surface for users and long lasting-efficiency for owners and operators.
Having just got back into outdoor running, my David Lloyd Personal Trainer decided it would be good to use the Woodway Curve as part of my strength and conditioning programme- I have ‘weak glutes’ so he wanted to use to build ‘glute’ activation, alongside general strength and fitness related specifically to running. I have walked on the Woodway Curve many times, but was apprehensive of running due to balance issues- creating a real lack of confidence. My PT gave me lots of advice prior to my first HI sprint session- which was a huge success! My confidence builds each time, as does my sprint speed, and it’s amazing how just 16 minutes of interval training has increased my calorie burn by 300 per session! My outdoor running speed has improved as a result- in just 4 weeks my quickest speed has gone from 5.19 mins per KM to 4.51mins per KM- which is a huge gain for me! I would recommend the Woodway Curve as an addition to any training program- whether for walking, running, sprinting, HIIT training- the benefits and gains are huge!?
I love the new Woodway CURVE. The big drawback to treadmill running in some people's mind is that the treadmill is doing half the work. Not with the new CURVE. My athletes love it and, we have seen great results with heart rate elevation. This is just a great piece.
The Woodway Curve Treadmill was an integral part of our training regimen for 2010 IGNITION Florida NFL Combine Class. Our combine training was a huge success and it obviously paid off at the NFL Draft. This treadmill was used amongst the Nation’s Top College Football Prospects, so not only was it beneficial to our program but also helped made a difference in the speed and agility of these athlete’s and most likely affect the rest of their lives.
